Founded in 1982 by fourteen choruses, GALA Choruses is the world’s leading international choral association for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied choruses. The Greater Rochester Choral Consortium provides a collaborative environment to make life easier for our member choruses and increase awareness of, and appreciation for, the many wonderful choral resources in the Rochester community.

The Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley (GAGV), which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2008, is a non-profit agency dedicated to the eradication of heterosexism and homophobia and the empowerment of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.

Formed in 2010 from the legal merger between AIDS Community Health Center and AIDS Rochester, AIDS Care isthe only organization in the Finger Lakes region with HIV/AIDS care and support services as its sole focus, offering a wide array of HIV/AIDS medical, social and prevention services. .

PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual persons, their families and friends through support, education and advocacy.  PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation, and works to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

The Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus (BGMC) performs a rich catalog of classical, contemporary, Broadway, pop, and multicultural music. Periodically the Buffalo and Rochester Gay Men's Chorus collaborate on joint performances.
